A lot of us, myself included spend most of the day being hard on ourselves.
We are always doing something wrong, eating something wrong, not looking a certain way, not acting a certain way, not responding to something the way we “should”, not talking a certain way, not working hard enough at something, skipping a workout, having too much to drink, sleeping in over working out (if your me this is a hard one for me).
I spend a lot of time in a day thinking of these things, rather then thinking of the things that I did do.
Instead of thinking about all of the things that we didn’t do, or did “wrong” we need to start reminding ourselves of the things we accomplished.
I went to the gym, I had a healthy breakfast, I went to work, I helped this person, I helped a co-worker, I helped myself by getting sleep, I enjoyed the evening by having a few adult beverages, I enjoyed the company of other people.
