It’s no secret I am a fan of protein powder. It all started when I decided to buy it to mix into my oatmeal in the morning for that added protein kick. Now I can’t eat oatmeal without it. I enjoy adding it to yogurt and putting it into smoothies.
The people over at Designer Whey sent me a nice little package full of all different sorts of protein Supplements!

Designer Whey happens to be one of my favorite protein powders because it doesn’t leave a chalky taste in your. 1 scoop will give you 18grams of protein. I thrive off of protein so I think its great that I can get a good dose of protein in the morning by adding it to my oatmeal or yogurt.
Designer Whey protein powder comes in a variety of flavors. I am a creature of habit and a chocolate lover so I usually go for the chocolate flavor but I received white chocolate and french vanilla in my package and I look forward to mixing things up!

Other flavors you can find Designer Whey in are:
Gourmet Chocolate
Double Chocolate
Classic Chocolate
Vanilla Almond
Vanilla Praline
Other goodies I got were Protein2Go packets. With 50 calories and 10grams of protein you really can’t go wrong with these. The packets are great for putting in my water bottle for the gym and for drinking post long run. I am a huge fan of the lemonade flavor!

I have found the perfect afternoon snack in the form of a designer whey protein bar. I am very picky about my protein bars. They must have a good flavor, they better not taste like cardboard or like a protein bar and they better keep me full like they say they will and they better be low in sugar!

Designer Whey protein bars meet all of my requirements expect the last one, they have 13grams of sugar which I think is a lot for a protein bar but I am willing to look past it because they are so darn tasty!
They come in 3 flavors:
Triple Chocolate Crunch
Chocolate Caramel Crunch -> this one is my absolute favorite, it taste like a candy bar
Peanut Butter Crunch
Last but not least they have shakes.

Shakes really aren’t my thing so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this shake. I would just take a sip when I got home from the gym in the morning to tie me over until I ate breakfast. The shakes were creamy and delicious.
All in all I am very pleased with all of Designer Whey’s products and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for protein supplements.
*I did a little experimenting with the protein powder and baked up a recipe I will be sharing with you tomorrow*

It’s definitely a good find and inexpensive compared to other protein powders!
I really like adding protein powder to my smoothies. That tends to be the only way I can get them down because I hate how chalky they are. Designer Whey seems to not have that problem – I’ve read other bloggers mentioning how surprised they were that it wasn’t chalky. The white chocolate sounds like heaven

Sounds great! I just had some Designer Whey protein drink this morning. A winner!
I really like all of their products!
i really don’t like protein powder and don’t use much of this kind of stuff but i do like a good bar, and those bar flavors sound yummy! i too look for bars low in sugar. i can’t stand when a candy bar is masquerading as a health food! i definitely wouldn’t mind throwing one of those into my plain cho or pudding at night.
You would definitely like these bars! If they last until the weekend I will be sure to give you one!
I just tried it within the past week as well and I’m really enjoying the white chocolate protein powder.

I haven’t tried that one yet but am enjoying the French vanilla. Is it weird I want to mix it into my coffee!?
I’ve been stuck on Vega lately, but used to always use Designer Whey since it is so affordable and easy to find. They have a lot more yummy sounding flavors than before. Thanks for the great review!

I haven’t tried Vega but I have heard its good too. Affordable is key for me when buying protein powder. I usually buy the 365 brand from whole foods because its a good price, I think Designer Whey rings in around the same price.
