A few weeks ago I was asked to review a new to me website called My Yoga Online. Since the bootcamp program I was following had just ended I really felt like I was at a loss with where I wanted to go with my workouts. So I figured why not give it a shot.
I did not use the website as much as I had anticipated but the times I did use it I really enjoyed it!
It was actually perfect for me a few weeks ago when I was away in Canada. Luckily I had internet at the house we rented and was able to pull up the website on my ipad.
After all of the walking we had done I woke up craving some quality low impact exercise. So I did some stretching courtesy of yoga and some pilates another day to get in the total body workout I felt like I was missing.
The website is really easy to navigate and broken down into sections to better find the workout that best suits you. You can search the categories according to the length, the style such as, the instructor, studio and level.
My favorite instructor was Amy Brown. I have a huge issue with certain instructors voices especially if they are teaching yoga or pilates, if their voice is too soft or monotone I lose total interest and get all ADD. There was just something refreshing about Amy’s style of teaching and the fact that her voice didn’t bother me helped a lot.
I really enjoyed my experience with my yoga online. I still prefer to go to the gym to get my workout on. I would highly recommend this to those that like to workout in the comfort of their own home!
My Yoga Online is offering all for love of carrots readers the opportunity to try their website free of charge for 2 weeks. To do so just visit this link http://www.myyogaonline.com/m/bloggers and follow the instructions given!
Will you be trialing this online program?
Which do you prefer yoga or pilates or neither?

its amazing, I am surprised there are gyms anymore lol
i tried my yoga online, i think last fall or last spring? it was pretty good, i did like how easy it was to find specific types of yoga at diff intensities, but was not as big of a fan of the yoga vids themselves as i have been of other yoga vids.

yeah I only did one yoga video, its hard for me to get into the yoga mind set that is why I prefer pilates. The only yoga videos that I semi enjoy are the Jillian Micheals.
I LOVE yoga. I totally know what you mean about the instructors voice. The voice can make or break the workout!
