Yesterday I got two moles removed, one on the middle of my back and one on my left calf.
The experience was interesting, I was able to drive myself to the appointment and drive myself back to work after. All they did was give me a shot in each of the areas to numb it and than they dug away. It was weird to know that something was going on but couldn’t feel it at all.
Because of the stitches and where the moles were I am not allowed to do any physical activity, I was told to take it pretty easy. I am hoping for a quick recovery because this whole not being active thing is not fun!
A lot of people asked me why I was getting moles removed, or what brought on my interest in having my skin checked out at the dermo.
One reason was because of Alyssa, she had no suspicious moles and ended up having to get several removed because they were cancerous.
I grew up in the sun, I was a lifeguard, I “forgot” sunscreen many times. You can rest assured I have gotten better about it over the years but that doesn’t mean I didn’t cause damage already.
