Season of Change

Hey there! It certainly has been a while. In case you didn’t see our little family is growing. My website is different and there has been a lot of reflecting on what’s happening on here.

In the beginning weeks or pregnancy it was hard for me to want to blog. I was so exhausted it was hard for me to muster the strength to do anything after I got home from work so I never got around to this space. It gave me a lot of time to reflect and figure out what I want this little space to be and what I don’t want it to be.

At first I thought I wanted to document my pregnancy the way I have seen other bloggers do. I even started a few in the drafts so that once we made the announcement I could post them. After I hit 12 weeks I really haven’t had much to report.

But after writing a few of those posts I realized I don’t want to do that. Something I have noticed from blogging over the past couple of years is that while it is fun to write about your life and the daily happenings people who know you in real life stop asking you questions about your life because they already read about it. I enjoy having conversations with friends and family and this is a really exciting/emotional/scary/and at times hard and I want to talk to people about it and open doors for conversation. So I won’t be blogging about my pregnancy… I think I will blog about the struggles I may have, some experiences, some fun things and my shower, but you won’t see any weekly updates.

Having said that you can probably imagine other things will be changing over here. Over the past few weeks I have really thought about what I want this little corner of the internet to really look like and I am shifting gears to really focus on my health coaching business and a few projects going on behind the scenes that I am extremely excited about and can’t wait to see come to fruition.

So what other changes will you see?
More Health/Wellness tips, tricks and advice
Recipes (on occasion)
Events/happenings in Boston (and New England)
Sprinkling of personal life here and there but not to the extent it has been

Hope you will continue to follow along!
