This granola makes a great snack if you are looking for something sweet, perfect for topping your favorite yogurt, ice cream/frozen yogurt or putting on top of your favorite smoothie! It is so delicious and so easy to whip up!
I don’t think I need to bore you with my love of granola, you have heard it enough!
But my love for this granola runs extra deep! As a self proclaimed chocoholic this granola meets all of your chocolate desires while still being healthy (in moderation of course 😉 ).
Super Chocolate Granola:
3 cups gluten free Bob’s Red Mill Oats
1/2 cup sunflower seed butter
1 cup honey
1/2 cup cacao powder
*optional add ins chia, flax seeds, hemp seeds, coconut pieces, mini chocolate chips
1.) Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spray pan with non stick cooking spray.
2.) Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with spoon until combined well.
3.) Pour mixture onto pan, leave it in a bit of a clump if you want to have clusters, if not spread it out evenly on the pan.
4.) Bake for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes mix granola around a bit so it doesn’t burn and bake for 10 more minutes.
5.) Remove from oven and let cool before storing in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks, but I would be seriously surprised if you were able to have it last that long!
These are pretty much granola form of my chocolate protein balls. So feel free to make them with chocolate protein powder or roll them into balls and keep them as a no-bake form.
