Over the weekend Jeff and I visited our friends in Dover, New Hampshire. I did not do a good job of taking pictures but we had a great weekend!
The drive took us longer than expected due to all the rain but we got there around 7 and quickly turned around for a nice seafood dinner out!
We went to Atlantic Grill for dinner and it was delicious! I love a restaurant that has my favorite wine Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc on the menu! To start I got the lobster artichoke dip and for my entree got the maple glazed salmon, the salmon was delicious as were the sprouts but the potatoes could have been cooked a tad more. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much! We even rounded out dinner with a gf brownie sundae!
Saturday morning we woke up leisurely and went to brunch at their friends house before heading to the Dover Apple Harvest! Dover shuts down a long street and a bunch of vendors come and set up tents and sell different things. We walked away with a cute collar for Brady.
After walking around the Harvest fest for a while we headed to Portsmouth NH to walk around town and grab dinner. Portsmouth was such a cute little town with lots of cute shops, a super cute health food store and plenty of restaurants to chose from. The town reminded me of Mystic, Ct. We had fun exploring the town before our bellies told us it was time for dinner.
We opted for sushi at Sake and everyone devoured their food, not realizing how hungry we all really were until we sat down. Post dinner we went to a Cigar Bar so the boys could enjoy a nice cigar and the ladies could enjoy some red wine.
Sunday morning we were up bright and early for a quick breakfast before hitting the road to head back home. I loved New Hampshire and can’t wait to visit again, I think I will wait until the temperature is a tad bit warmer!
