My bachelorette party took place last weekend in Boston and it was soo much fun! I am so sad the weekend is over and keep wishing I could relive it.
After some train delays I finally arrived in Boston around 7:45. I was greeted with a glass of champagne and my friends Lindsay and Cait.
We headed to Lindsay’s apartment to change and head out to dinner. Two of my other friends were arriving a little later and two more were due to come in Saturday morning so we kept the night fairly low key.
We went to Audubon Circle, they had a great outdoor seating area so we got drinks at the bar until there was room to sit outside. I had a dangerously delicious cucumber vodka and champagne beverage which quickly derailed my plan of going to spinning in the morning and Cait and I opted to jog around the neighborhood when we woke up.
After Maja and Laura arrived at the restaurant we spent time drinking and catching up before calling it a night.
Cait and I woke up and ran around her neighborhood. By the time we got back my friend Allison had arrived and we headed out for the morning activity, which was a surprise to me until we got there.
We went kayaking along the Charles River and it was soo fantastic! My friends obviously know me well and know I would want to do something active before a day of drinking. We all had such a great time and couldn’t have asked for better weather!
After kayaking we headed back to change and head into the city to check into our hotel and make our way to the rooftop bar at Legal Seafood (harborside). We stayed at the Ames Hotel, which was sooooo beautiful and I highly recommend it.
Even I could lay down comfortably in the bathtub!
The rooftop at Legal Seafood is one of my favorite spots. We spent a couple hours there drinking sangria and eating delicious sushi!
Once we were ready we headed to dinner which was at City Landing. It was an amazing restaurant and I want to go back soo badly! They had a 2 page gluten free menu and they had gluten free bread and brought me a gluten free brownie with ice cream for dessert!
After shutting the restaurant down we headed to Scholars where we shut the dance floor down and danced the night away.
I had soo much fun with my friends and wish we could do things like this more often but it makes the times that we do get to do them that much more special!
and now the count down is officially on, 32 DAYS!!!
