5 tips to make your life magnificent

While scrolling through Mind, Body, Green this morning I stumbled upon this article about about 5 Tips to Create a Magnificent life. I found it wildly appropriate for how I have been feeling lately. I decided I needed to come up with my own list and make a conscious effort to work at it on a daily basis.

1.) Stress less: while this is easier said then done for me I know I need to take a deep breathe every once in a while and look at the bigger pictures. After reading the above article I texted my brother to give me tips on meditation. He recently started meditating on a regular basis and said that he feels better after he does. I figured its something I should give a shot.

2.) Do things that make you happy: while from the hours of 8-4 I may not be the happiest I do things before and after that make me extremely happy. Going to the gym, walking my dog, spending time with Jeff, spending time with family and friends, and working at the fitness studio. I need to remind myself that I have plenty of things in my life that bring me happiness.

3.) Talk more: I am more of a listener then a talker. I don’t really like talking about myself. I have come to realize that sometimes I need to.

4.) Be present:
often times when I am somewhere or doing something I am thinking about the next place I have to be or what time I have to wake up the next morning. I need to work on being in the moment.

5.) Never take a day for granted: Sure we all have our bad days, bad weeks but everything happens for a reason so take those days as life lessons and learn from them.
