Listen to your body

Good morning or afternoon depending on what time you read this blog! Brady wanted to give you some puppy love to make your day a little brighter!

I don’t have anything new to report really! I spent the weekend sleeping, relaxing, spending time with some girlfriends and yogaing!

In favor of my usual Sunday spin class I slept in, my body needed it! Later in the day I tried to convince myself to go to the gym and run but my body was sore and tired. Enter the negative voice replaying what your ate/drank over the weekend and how much activity you did. After mentally hemming and hawing I stood up to the negative voice and told myself I was going to yoga.

And boy was I ever glad I did! I honestly think this is the first class I have not looked at the clock every 2 minutes wishing it was almost over! I was sad when the class was coming to an end.

I left the gym feeling extremely proud of myself for truly listening to what my body wanted. Kaitlin a few years ago would have not listened and pounded out cardio on the treadmill or elliptical just to see the “calories” burned.

I really need to add yoga into my routine more often, especially since best body bootcamp is challenging my muscles in so many new ways! I loved the workout this morning and am excited for what is in store for the rest of the week!
