Ice cream cupcakes

Happy Tuesday! Thank you for your kind words yesterday they were very much appreciated.

Since the best way to cheer yourself is with chocolate I thought I would share a sweet treat with you today.

Over the weekend we celebrated my aunts birthday, I wanted to make her something different. I thought about making her a cake, ice cream sandwiches or cookies. Then I realized I could make cupcakes and add ice cream and have ice cream cake cupcakes.

They were a great treat, easy to make and delicious!

Ice Cream Cake Cupcakes
Ingredients
1 box cake of choice (I used Duncan Hines dark chocolate fudge mix)
Follow box directions for ingredients
1 cartoon of ice cream of choice (my aunts favorite it coffee so that is what I used)

Directions:

1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2.) Prepare cupcake tins by placing cupcake liners in your pan.
3.) Prepare cake according to box directions. Drop about a tbs of cake pix into the liners (if you like it more cakey then ice cream add more, or if you have a heavy hand like me, I had to scrape some cake off)
4.) Bake for about 10 minutes, keeping a close eye
5.) Once the cupcakes are out of the oven top them with ice cream of choice as well as toppings of choice, I would definitely do sprinkles next time!
6.) Place in freezer until ready to serve.
